Jesus declared: ….Yet a time is coming and has come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. John 4: 23-24
Worship at Stockton United Methodist Church is many faceted, 10:30-11:30 a.m. every Sunday. Worship blends traditional with contemporary practices, giving the congregation a comfortable, relaxed order of worship that emphasizes God’s glory and eternal salvation.
An integral part of worship is the excellent music program, led by traditional organ and piano accompaniment. Our choir performs a weekly anthem that includes praise music, choruses and traditional hymns. Special musical presentations include both adult and youth bell choirs as well as vocal and instrumental solos and ensembles by members.
We record sermons and special music each Sunday. Play the audio sermons posted on our Web site.
We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of every month. We invite every man, woman and child present to partake of the Lord’s Supper.
We invite you to worship with us and attend a Sunday School class, 9:30-10:15 a.m.
