Oct. 9 (Tuesday) Birthday Party/ Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility
Our church joins other churches in the Stockton community in taking turns to host a birthday party each month for all nursing home residents with a birthday that month. Our United Methodist Women break with traditional angel food cake and ice cream and provide home baked pie instead. This delights all the residents who are invited to the dining hall to share a piece of pie, fellowship, and lively entertainment by the ladies of UMW; they sing old familiar songs and some even dance!
